Small break!
Yeeeikes! I’ve taken a bit of a break from this site. There has been SO much going on in my life lately, this site seems to have been the most neglected. I had the conference in Austin that I had to speak at, my wedding to plan, some real teenager issues going on here at home and work has piled high and deep!
Unfortunately, my diet efforts seemed to take a back seat, as well.
I have put on about 5 lbs in the last month and a half! Which puts me at a net loss of 10lbs overall.. instead of 15.
Now that things have calmed down around here - I’m hitting it hard again for the next 3 months in preparation for my wedding at the end of June. My old goals have been wiped and I’m looking at a new weight loss goal of 20lbs from today.
I have rededicated myself to my daily cardio on the treadmill and the every other day circuit weight training.. and have added a new daily routine to my weeks.. I bought the 5 DVD Carmen Electra Striptease Aerobic Workout.
Hey - I have a honeymoon coming up!! What new bride on her honeymoon couldn’t benefit from a little fitness coupled with a good lapdance in her honeymoon bag-o-tricks?
Pan-Roasted Red Snapper
Pan-Roasted Red Snapper
4 6-ounce red snapper fillets
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
1. Season the snapper fillets with salt and pepper, then drizzle with olive oil.
2. Place a sauté pan large enough to accommodate all the fillets over medium-high heat. Add the snapper and lower the heat to medium. Cook until well-browned on one side, about 3 minutes. Turn the fillets over and cook 1 more minute.

Carmen Electra - Strip Tease Aerobics
Did I just say that??
I got my 5 Disc DVD set of
Carment Electra’s Strip Tease Aerobics and started doing it everyday. Today was my third day and I am DEFINITELY feeling the burn, man!
And strippers/dancers do this stuff for hours and hours a day? No WONDER they’re all so fit!
The routines are great fun - - if you can happen to get past the fact that Carmen Electra has NO butt to speak of! I’m learning some new dance moves that I can incorporate… somewhere… sometime.
Most fun? I’m getting into shape… using some muscle groups that I obviously haven’t been using in my cardio and weight training - - because it’s HURTING! Plus - - I’m putting these moves together to formulate a little surprise for my soon-to-be-hubby for our honeymoon at the end of June.
